Mary Tipton Woolley joined Tech in 2009 as associate director of Undergraduate Admission. She then served as the senior associate director and interim executive director before rising to the executive director position in March 2025. With over 25 years of undergraduate admission experience, Woolley has played an instrumental role in advancing the Undergraduate Admission office.

Across the Regular Decision and Early Action applicant groups, almost 67,000 students applied for admission into Tech’s Fall 2025 first-year class, with more than 8,500 receiving admission offers. On March 7 at 7 p.m., Georgia Tech admitted 1,048 Georgia students in the Regular Decision 1 round of undergraduate admission decisions. These students join those already admitted during the Georgia students-only Early Action 1 phase, making for a total of 3,666 Georgia admitted students for Tech’s 2025 first-year class. - Undergraduate Admission Delivers Decisions to Over 36,000 Students in Early Action 2
On Friday, Jan. 31, 36,185 students applying to Georgia Tech during the Early Action 2 phase received their admission decisions.
