
Mary Tipton Woolley joined Tech in 2009 as associate director of Undergraduate Admission. She then served as the senior associate director and interim executive director before rising to the executive director position in March 2025. With over 25 years of undergraduate admission experience, Woolley has played an instrumental role in advancing the Undergraduate Admission office.

Overall, the Fall 2025 admit rate for Georgia residents is 30%; it is 9% for nonresidents.

These students join those already admitted during the Georgia students-only Early Action 1 phase, making for a total of 3,666 Georgia admitted students for Tech’s 2025 first-year class.
